Mosaic Workshop

Join the Lam Museum staff to learn about the history of mosaics from ancient to modern times. The discussion will include purposes, types, materials, and techniques used to create mosaics. Drawing on mosaic traditions from around the world, each participant will design and complete their own mosaic. This workshop is offered in conjunction with the exhibit Museum of World Cultures: Highlights from the UNC-Wilmington Collection which features objects from ancient Greece and Rome. This workshop is designed for adults and children ages 8 and up. The fee is $25 per participant ($20 for Lam Museum members). Space is limited and advanced registration is required. Register today!
