Homeschool families join together to spend a day at Körner’s Folly just for them by becoming a historian for the day!
This program explores how museums operate “behind-the-scenes.” Homeschoolers will learn how to research and work with special collection objects and help historians discover and teach people about the past. This program offers self-guided tours, historic yard games and toys, arts-and-crafts activities, and a special “behind-the-scenes” scavenger hunt through the 22-room house museum. In the John & Bobbie Wolfe Visitor Center, homeschoolers will be able to discover the fun ways museum staff preserve, restore, and showcase objects from the past with hand-on activities, crafts, and more!
Last house entry time is at 1:00 PM. Plan to come early or stay later after your tour. Activities can be done in any order! Families are welcome to bring lunch to eat picnic-style on our grounds or in the John and Bobbie Wolfe Visitor Center Community Room.
